Further Remarks

The current data are part of an omnibus survey. The question of party preference is not contained in this data set, since this information was obtained anonymously after the interview (Urnenmodell). The original data are available in the IfD Allensbach as a so-called "Staebchenspiel", as a "Korrelations-Baukasten", as described in E. Noelle, Umfragen in der Massengesellschaft, rororo 1963, page 204-205. Making the data machine-readable was commissioned by the Zentralarchiv in 1993. At the Institut fuer Demoskopie (Institute for Public Opinion Research) in Allensbach the data set has IfD Archive No. 20.
